Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We typically do check in, vocalises (warm ups), and repertoire (singing a song).  As for repertoire selection, you can bring in a song of your choice. I am also happy to recommend you training songs based on your technical needs.

How long and frequent will our lessons be?

We offer a one-hour lesson, but also do a 45 minute lesson if you prefer. You can make faster progress with weekly lessons, but we can meet bi-weekly or as needed!

What is the lesson rate?

Please contact us for rates and availability.

What types of students have you worked with?

Beginner to advanced singers, any age - classical, music theater, pop/rock, R&B/soul, country etc.  I work with various singers including musical theater actors, recording artists, singer songwriters, opera singers, church soloists, Vtubers, and voice actors. If you are interested in Japanese songs, I am happy to teach them too!

Where are we meeting?

We are currently offering online lessons over Skype or Zoom. Please contact us for in-person lessons in NYC, Tokyo, or London.

What should the student know about your policies?

Cancellation Policy: Should you need to cancel for any reason, we require 48 hours notice. You may contact us to try and reschedule your time. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, you will be responsible for payment for the lesson.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

NYU Adjunct Voice Faculty: 2017 - 2019 NYU Steinhardt, Masters of Music in Vocal Performance, Musical Theater concentration and Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy.
